(“we”, “us”, “our” or “UMF”).  This Privacy Policy is governed by the Terms of Use  which is hereby incorporated by reference.  At UMF, we are committed to protecting your privacy.  This Privacy Policy describes the information that we collect and how we treat that information.

By accessing this Website or providing your information to us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by this Privacy Policy.  For purposes hereof, “you” or “your” shall include yourself, your organization and any person or entity you represent or on the behalf of which you use the Website.  If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, you may not access, browse and/or use this Website.

Hyperlinks.  Please be aware that other websites that have links on our Website may collect your personal information.  The practices of those websites are not covered by this Privacy Policy, and UMF is not responsible for such third parties’ information practices.  Links to third party websites on this Website are provided solely as a convenience to you.  If you use these links, you may leave this Website and enter websites controlled by third parties.  UMF does not control and is not responsible for any of these third party websites, their content or their policies, including, without limitation, privacy policies or lack thereof.  UMF does not endorse or make any representations about third party websites or any information, software or other products or materials found there, or any results that may be obtained from using them.  If you decide to access any of the third party websites linked to this Website, you do so entirely at your own risk.  You acknowledge and agree that UMF shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on any such third party websites.  If you choose to make a donation to UMF online through the donation form provided on the Website, your browser will be directed and your information submitted to PayPal.com for processing of your transaction.

Personal Information Collected.  UMF collects personal information you submit to the Website, such as, for example, when signing up to receive our newsletters, or other information you may provide when you contact us.  The types of personal information collected include your name, email address, church or organization, street address and phone number.  

Use of Personal Information.  UMF will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to others without your consent.  UMF will use your personal information for the limited purposes of responding to you when you contact us, providing you with products or services (e.g., our newsletter), notifying you about products, services or events which may be of interest to you (e.g., church locations and functions in your area), processing transactions (e.g., donations you make to UMF and related organizations) and administering our Website.

Disclosure of Personal Information.  We may share your personal information with our agents, contractors and affiliates and with unaffiliated third parties for the purposes described above in accordance with this Privacy Policy.  For example, if you make an online donation, we provide your information to PayPal.com to complete your transaction, or if you request that we share your information with a UMF Grantee in your area, we will do so.  UMF may share aggregated data with others which does not include personally identifiable information.  We may share your information as part of any reorganization process, such as a merger or acquisition.   We may also disclose your information when we believe it is required by law or necessary for the operation of our organization, or to protect your rights, our rights or the rights of others.

Children Under the Age of 13.  We do not provide products or services designed or intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not collect personal information from any person we actually know is under the age of 13.

Revisions to this Privacy Policy.  UMF may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time.  If such changes materially affect the use or disclosure of your personal information, we will provide notice to you by sending an email with a description of the changes and/or by posting an updated policy to this page.  By using this Website you agree to be bound by any such revisions and should therefore periodically visit this Website and page to review the then current Privacy Policy.
