About the Foundation

Since 1949, the United Methodist Foundation in northern Illinois has strived to enhance the stewardship ministry of local churches and church-related agencies.  The Foundation also encourages lifelong stewardship among United Methodists in the region.

• We provide consultation and seminars on financial stewardship, endowment funds and planned giving.

• We administer the investments of local church funds using a professional Investment Consultant, the Investment Committee of the Board and a superior staff dedicated to excellent customer service.

• We work with donors who wish to make charitable gifts, offering a variety of gift planning options.

• We sponsor a grants program to encourage creative ministries throughout northern Illinois.
